Youth Skills Worker – NQ

The Youth Job Training Worker is responsible for supporting employment, education and training pathways
for girls and young women in Townsville who are engaged with Youth Justice or Queensland Corrective
Services. The majority of participants will be young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. This
position will work closely with other organisational staff in accordance with the Values, Mission, policies and
procedures of Sisters Inside Inc.

Health Support Worker x 2 – SEQ

The Health Support Program (HSP) is a Queensland-wide service which provides intensive support to improve the health and wellbeing of women and their children following women’s release from prison.  The Health Support Worker (BWCC) will primarily engage with women in the Brisbane Women’s Correctional Centre and the Health Support Worker (SQCC) will primarily engage with women in the Southern Queensland Correctional Centre.   This position will focus on preparation for release, and may continue to support women and their children post-release.  Many participants will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women: program participants will also include women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds and women with disabilities.
